Business Today TOP 30 Awards: BUSINESS TODAY is also synonymous with the 'Business Today TOP 30' that recognises the top corporate performers in Sri Lanka at an annual ceremony. The event that was initially the Business Today TOP 10 later evolved to become the Business Today TOP 30. The event has been held under the patronage of the Head of State or Government. The Business Today TOP 30 2016 – 2017 was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Previously, the event has been held in the presence of the Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa, Prime Minister D M Jayaratne and Leader of the Opposition Ranil Wickremesinghe.
